Crown Land Camping Permits

Non-residents of Canada wishing to camp in Canada but outside of Quetico Provincial Park will require a Crown Land Camping permit.  Outside the park, some restrictions apply and camping is not permitted in all areas.  Crown Land Camping Permits are available online at  Crown Land Camping Permits are not available at any of the park’s ranger stations.  You will need to sign up for what is known as a ONe-key ID (online account) to purchase your permit.  You will need to print a copy of your permit for each member of your party and each person will need to carry their permit with them while camping on Crown Land.  For further information regarding Crown Land Camping, contact the Atikokan Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry Office at (807)597-6971.  Please note, Crown Land Camping permits are completely separate from park permits and a separate park permit is required for camping within Quetico Provincial Park.
